You help us to secure the safety of our IT environment. By providing our services to many internal stakeholders, you have a massive impact on thousands of people and their work.

This job offers you a monthly salary with a maximum of € 4.379,50 (based on a 36-hour week) ordepending on your knowledge and experience.

Your impact as a Security Officer at NN Life & Pension

In our rapidly changing environment, you provide all of our internal stakeholders with the safest online environment possible. Our goal is to increase the level of our IT security by always looking for improvement. At any time, we remain anticipatory. You are part of the IT security team within our business unit Customer and Commerce. You will develop, improve and implement IT security applications. When strategically planning our security, you involve our stakeholders and their feedback. This way, we build our frameworks in a way that satisfies all final users.

Your colleagues

We have many small IT Security teams, and you are the third member of the security team within Customer and Commerce Business unit. Mostly, we work independently. We believe it is essential to not only improve our work but also develop on a personal level. Therefore, we provide each other with feedback. Whenever we need to be, we are serious and hard-working people. But in-between, humour is a big part of our daily business.

You have a great sense of responsibility. At any time, you take your colleagues and their expertise into account. Not only of your team: you listen to all the opinions of our stakeholders as well. Furthermore you have:

A bachelor’s or master’s way of thinking

1 to 5 years of experience with IT Security

Knowledge of the COBIT framework

Technical knowledge of security

Salary between € 3.065,69 and € 4.379,55 depending on your knowledge and experience

194.4 hours of leave, based on a 36-hour week (that’s 27 vacation days for a 5-day working week) and one Diversity Day

Holiday allowance and a 13th month, paid with your monthly salary

NS Business Card 2nd class, which gives you unlimited travel 7 days a week. Do you prefer to travel with your own transport? Then you can declare the kilometres travelled for business and commuting.

Because of Covid-19, all NN colleagues are currently working from home fully digitally. It is currently not yet clear when we can return to the office, but when we do, it will most likely be parttime. Your official location will be Rotterdam.
